BlackBerry Bold 9900 / 9930 shipping with magnetometer-friendly augmented reality app

Sick of all of the RIM news coming out around this week's BlackBerry World in Orlando? Good news, neither are we. If you were still on the fence about the Bold 9900 and 9930, here's something that might sway you back onto Research in Motion's side of the Canadian border. RIM teamed up with Wikitude to bring their augmented reality solution to BlackBerry OS 7 and the BlackBerry Bold 9900 to show off the new magnetometer in the device. In this partnership with RIM they are preloading their Wikitude World Browser on the BlackBerry Bold 9900.

Nexus S 4G CDMA now available with Sprint in US

Starting today consumers in US will have the Nexus S CDMA option as well to buy. Telecom operator Sprint has started selling Nexus S 4G in the country.  Integrated with Google Voice, Sprint Nexus S is the first pure Google device to support 4G network.

That's when your Pure Google device will be ready for use and abuse, though you'll have to accept the usual two-year commitment with Sprint and pay up the typical $200 entry fee. Intriguingly, the Nexus S 4G's release date matches up with a roadmap leak we saw recently, which also featured the Motorola Xoom launching on Sprint in "early May." Can't be long before that goes official as well now. Jump past the break for Sprint's PR regarding today's news.
